How Do You Determine Your Foot Type
How to determine your foot type?
Our running shoes guide starts with the most basic step: figuring out your foot type. We recommend a couple of tests:
The Wet Feet Test
1. Wet your foot in the battub or with a shallow pan of water.
2. Step normally onto a paper towel or brown paper bag. so that you leave wet footprint behind.
3. Evaluate the footprint:
a. A complete or nearly complete print means you have flat arch (overpronation).
b. If the print is widenear the toes but curves inward slighty toward the middle, rounding out again at the heel, you have a medium arch (normal).
c, If the inward curve is so complete that you mostly see only the front of the foot and the heel, you have a high arch (supination).
